Toggle: The toggle should very smoothly rotate without any resistance and easily moves either clockwise or anti-clockwise. Zip: Similarly to the toggle, the internal zip should open and close very smoothly without any grainy resistance. Additionally, the top flap of the Birkin should lie perfectly on top of the zipper when brought inward. She is classed as 'The Bag' that has seen us through our transition stage. We tried to find a style that would offset that masculinity and embrace hints of femininity - a kind of a "pretty boy" look (back then).
